Working in Tech at a 30-Year-Old Company in 2025: The Good, the Challenging, and the Unexpected

Software engineering is the heart of whatever we do.

For 30 years, we have been working in tech with the same dedication that defined our early days. Here, a developer solves real problems while writing code, with the weight and trust of long-term relationships behind them. Many of our clients have been with us for over a decade. And it shows.

There are times when things move slower than you’d like. When the process feels unnecessary. But you realize quickly, it’s not red tape. It’s a responsibility.

And then, there’s the unexpected. Like how a legacy company still feels young in energy. Like how your suggestion in a team call can turn into a roadmap feature. Or how, even during peak chaos, someone always steps in. “We find peace in chaos”, someone once said in a sprint review, and it stuck. Because it’s true. The stability isn’t accidental. You don’t expect a 30-year-old tech company to still take risks. But we do.
