Software engineering is the heart of whatever we do.
For 30 years, we have been working in tech with the same dedication that defined our early days. What began as a tight-knit team solving complex client problems has grown into a global ecosystem of engineers, analysts, designers, domain experts, and innovators. Even today, when a new project begins or a major decision is on the table, the room is filled with the same intent and focus that has guided us since the very start.
The good is everywhere, though it doesn’t always shout. It’s in the way projects are run, with maturity, ownership, and a focus on client outcomes. Here, a developer solves real problems while writing code, with the weight and trust of long-term relationships behind them. Many of our clients have been with us for over a decade. And it shows.
Arvind, one of our Project Managers who joined in 2008, puts it this way: “I would say to any fresher who wants to work in a team and who is up for a challenge to come and work with us because we are a dynamic team of young as well as experienced people, and we work very well together.”
You see the good in how new joiners find mentors before managers, how international teams sync without silos, and how a culture of excellence has scaled across 30+ countries and five continents. It’s steady. It’s intentional. And it works.
But that’s not to say it’s easy. The challenging part is carrying forward a legacy while staying agile. You don’t get 20+ Fortune 500 clients and 80% repeat business without deep systems, and those systems need care. There are platforms built on years of iteration, decisions layered with history, and integrations that demand patience and understanding. You can’t bulldoze your way through them. You have to learn, question, and adapt with respect.
There are times when things move slower than you’d like. When the process feels unnecessary. But you realize quickly, it’s not red tape. It’s a responsibility.
And then, there’s the unexpected. Like how a legacy company still feels young in energy. Like how your suggestion in a team call can turn into a roadmap feature. Or how, even during peak chaos, someone always steps in. “We find peace in chaos”, someone once said in a sprint review, and it stuck. Because it’s true. The stability isn’t accidental. It’s built on people who’ve seen things go wrong, stayed calm, and fixed them together.
You don’t expect a 30-year-old tech company to still take risks. But we do. Across our verticals, Autofacets, Autodap, DilX, Gateway Digital, GSL, GWX, we try new models, build new solutions, and enter new markets. What keeps us grounded is our vision. It hasn’t changed: deliver comprehensive, efficient, cost-effective business solutions through IT, and build a place where professionals grow with the company, not around it.
Delivering measurable business value is core to every Gateway Group company. Our shared values are embedded across all brands, supported by cutting-edge technology, scalable infrastructure, and a unified global culture.
“More than our technological expertise, it’s our relationships, reliability, and credibility with our customers that makes us a globally successful company. Rest is complimentary.”
That’s why people stay. That’s why people return. And that’s why, even after three decades, we’re still not done building.
