Alteryx Developer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in working with Alteryx and Oracle databases, including PL/SQL. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines, as well as ensuring data quality, integration, and governance. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data engineering practices and a proactive approach to driving data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Engineering:
   • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data.
   • Optimize data pipelines to handle large-scale data processing and enhance performance.
2. Data Management:
   • Collect and acquire data from multiple sources to ensure comprehensive datasets.
   • Cleanse and standardize data for consistency and accuracy.
   • Transform and structure data to meet business and analytical requirements.
   • Integrate data from various systems to create a unified view for analysis.
   • Enrich datasets by incorporating additional relevant data points.
3. Documentation and Governance:
   • Document data processes, schemas, and transformation logic to ensure transparency and reusability.
   • Implement data governance policies, ensuring adherence to GDPR and other compliance standards.
4. Database Management:
   • Develop and optimize PL/SQL scripts for efficient data querying and manipulation.
   • Manage and maintain Oracle database systems, ensuring availability and security.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
   • Present data engineering strategies, insights, and progress to stakeholders effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of overall experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Expertise with Alteryx: Proven experience designing workflows and automating data processes.
• Oracle Database and PL/SQL: Strong ability to write and optimize complex PL/SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipeline design and implementation.
• Proficiency in data collection, cleansing, transformation, integration, and enrichment.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for data processes.
• Familiarity with data governance policies, including GDPR compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation.
